Samsung Delivers Mondi - MID For Social Network Addicts

Samsung has revealed its first mobile WiMAX enabled handheld device. Dubbed the Mondi, the Mobile Internet Device is also the first of its kind that the manufacturer visions to be used with Clearwire mobile services. Providing GPS navigation facility with Wi-Fi on a 4.3-inch screen, the device also flaunts a sliding full QWERTY keyboard and 3MP camera and camcorder. Though Mondi isn’t actually a phone, it has a microphone to function with internet telephony applications, supposedly.

Samsung M550 Exclaim to bring mobile social networking to Sprint

The M550 Exclaim stands out with what is believed to be tight integration with popular social networks such as MySpace and Facebook. The photos show a tabbed interface on the device's standby screen, with quick access to each network.

The Exclaim is though to be the device previously referred to as the Lucello in other leaked Sprint documents. The Lucello was listed as having a 2.6-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) resolution display, along with EV-DO Rev 0 support for Sprint's high-speed data network. A 2 megapixel camera is also believed to be on board.

Samsung Joins with Bebo in Social Networking Partnership

Samsung Mobile UK, one of the leading mobile phone providers, on May 27 announced a strategic partnership with AOL owned Bebo, launching Samsung’s biggest social networking collaboration ever.

"The partnership will include a number of core strands including: the opportunity to provide content for the Bebo music homepage, eight monthly live events, ‘Samsung Bebo Nights Live at the Gibson Guitar Studio’, a Samsung music profile and ground breaking original programming with new music show ‘Beat’, produced by Endemol.

Bebo partners with Samsung and Endemol for music show

Bebo has partnered with mobile phone company Samsung and production company Endemol to create an online music show.

Beat will take the form of a daily magazine show and will launch on the social network on 19 June.

The show is part of a wider partnership between Samsung and Bebo which will see the former provide content on a range of Bebo channels.

Samsung S5600 launched exclusively with Orange

Samsung Mobile announced today that Orange is the first UK network to launch the Samsung S5600. Available immediately, the new handset is perfect for social networkers on the move and available in black, pink and white for the latest in touchscreen innovation.

Samsung Mondi WiMAX-Enabled MID Now Available

Samsung has started offering the Mondi, which runs Windows Mobile and sports WiMax, a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, and a sliding keyboard.

It is part of an emerging class: the Mobile Internet Device. This means it is a portable computer bigger than a phone but smaller than a laptop with an emphasis on mobile Web, email, and social networking.

The Samsung Exclaim’s dual slider action secrets a numeric keypad along with a full QWERTY keyboard and is available in raspberry and blueberry hues and is available via Sprint for $79.99 on signing a 2 year agreement.

The Samsung Exclaim offers a single click Facebook tile which enables the user to update their status, monitor news feeds, track friends and manage your inbox. The MySpace and Twitter tiles do virtually the same.
