Motorola Karma QA1 brings serious mobile social networking
It’s pretty fair to say that Motorola has one very specific demographic in mind with its new Karma QA1: socially connected teenagers.Launching on June 28th, the Motorola Karma QA1 is all about keeping you connected on the go by any means necessary, and doing it at a price that won’t send parents in to a tizzy over buying it for their youngsters. Priced at $79.99 on contract after a $50 mail-in rebate, the QA1 may not be an iPhone, but it is certainly going to give teens the features they want.

Motorola Pins Hopes On Android, But Analysts Are Not Sure
Android, Android, Android. To say that beleaguered cellphone maker Motorola (NYSE: MOT) is pinning its hopes on the operating system would be an understatement. Today, after co-CEO and head of its mobile unit Sanjay Jha confirmed during its Q1 earnings call that Motorola was on course to launch Android-based smartphones in time for the fourth quarter holiday season, analysts grilled him in the question and answer session, wanting to know just how much Motorola can differentiate itself from its rivals while using Android, and if operators were biting.
